Graduate of Walden University where I earned my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a dual specialization in Trauma and Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling. As your counselor, I am passionate about helping clients find the inner strength they need to face all obstacles they may face in life.
I work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds on issues including depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, grief and loss, and other mental health and life concerns. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, families, couples, and groups within urban communities. I believe that my role as a Counselor is to collaborate with my clients and work with them to solve their issues.
Vonda Simmons, Director of Family Support Services
Vonda Simmons is a certified life coach.
Vonda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a concentration in Education. Vonda lives in Belmont, NC, with her children and surrounds herself with family and friends. The daily affirmation and scripture that she stands on are all things that are possible through Christ that strengthens me.
Vonda is well equipped to challenge building programs through the power of connection and relationships. As a life coach, she helps you clarify your goals, identifies the obstacles holding you back, and then comes up with strategies for overcoming each obstacle. In creating these strategies, life coaches target your unique skills and gifts.


Anne Wiggins, LCSW
Mrs.Wiggins is a mental health professional with ten years of experience, specializing in working with all ages during stressful times. She assists with bringing oneself back to independence and improving self-worth through movement therapy; solution-focused CBT, reality-based treatment, and structure. When you feel out of control or disappointed, she is here to assist you with finding peace of mind.
She can provide problem-solving, coping, and organizational skills to assist with. She is an empathetic and loving individual who easily understands what you might be going through.
Mrs. Wiggins helps with ADHD, stress management, and anxiety to assist with providing appropriate coping skills… I truly believe everything happens for a reason and together we can “Dance in the Rain.” We can create a working alliance to improve your relationship with yourself and others. We can do it together. You are not alone.
Shkeitha Young, LCSW, TF-CFB
Ms.Young completed her first degree in 2006 at North Carolina A&T State University where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Social Work.
Ms. Young later continued her education in 2007 with accumulating a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of South Carolina. After completing her training, Ms. Young obtained a six-month position in England, the United Kingdom working with teenagers aging out of the foster care system.
Ms. Young was able to assist many teenagers without families to locate and maintain stable housing and support them with continuing their education.
Ms. Young later returned to the United States where she obtained her LCSW to provide individual and family counseling.

Jessica Burstein, LCSW
She believes that human beings are resilient by nature and can find relief from emotional distress. She helps those find the balance between releasing emotional pain while at the same time utilizing healthy coping skills. Every person at some point in their life has experienced a negative emotion.
When these emotions stay elevated over some time, they can interfere with every facet of life. Ms. Burstein is here to help individuals walk through their feelings, healthily release them, and help them continue progressing towards their individualized goals.
